Will you join us in the splash zone? We’ve been challenged by a few generous donors to double our summer splash! When we raise $15,000, these donors will double each donated dollar! This means $30,000 will go directly to Special Hope Network to train more families on how to support the unique needs of their child with intellectual disabilities…that’s a splash worth doubling!
The World Health Organization estimates that 2 of every 10 children in the developing world are disabled either physically, intellectually or both. Most of the children who have special needs world-wide are not registered at birth. They have no official or legal status. These children may not be counted, but we know they still count!
Special Hope Network is a faith-based organization working in Zambia, Africa that was created to encourage, support, and train communities and families on how to care for children with intellectual disabilities. Our team in Zambia provides sustainable solutions to address the unique and specific needs of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Special Hope Network is committed to training families, community leaders, health care administrators, and educators in disability awareness programs, because we believe that individuals impact communities, and communities promote the positive change that we’re all cheering for! Because of your generous partnership, Special Hope has provided 500+ children and families with home, health, and education services through our five Community Care Centers (CCCs), and there are more families ready and waiting to be reached!
Together, we’re creating a world where children with intellectual disabilities can thrive! The Special Hope Splash Zone provides you with an opportunity to invest a double portion in the kids and families that are being supported and loved. Every tax-deductible splash (donation) allows us to rally around more children, families, and communities in Zambia. We couldn’t be reaching our Zambian neighbors without your partnership!
