The Special Hope Network Resource Center (RC) is an education center for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This learning center is for students whose families are able to invest in specialized education plans. Special Hope Network staff create individual plans for each student in attendance at the RC. These plans include set goals based on the specific abilities of each student. Plans are communicated to the caregivers, along with progress updates throughout the year.
Many children are in need of the specialized education that the Resource Center offers, but not all families can afford the Resource Center. Rather than leave these children without education that meets their specific needs, Special Hope Network has worked hard to offer reduced rates. Unfortunately, having too many students attend the RC at a reduced rate, makes it difficult for Special Hope to retain qualified and passionate staff, as well provide students with high quality supplies and resources. The Special Hope Network scholarship program makes specialized education at the Resource Center accessible to more children in need!
